Scientists are observing colonies of emperor penguins on Antarctica by tracking their poop with satellites.  One scientist from the British Antarctic Survey said, "We can't see actual penguins on the satellite maps because the resolution isn't good enough.  The ice gets pretty dirty and it's the guano stains that we can see."  Not so cute and cuddly anymore, are they?
