The original version of Amazing Grace, as written by John Newton, has a stanza that goes like this: 
The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
The sun forbear to shine;
But God, who call'd me here below,
Will be forever mine.
I get the point, but "the earth shall soon dissolve like snow"?  Yikes.  That's a little unsettling. #entertainment
