This is obviously your short list.  Where is Shirley, Kelly, Ashley...?

There's a couple at church named Tracy and Lynn...and frankly, I can never remember which one is which.

My HS Physics teacher was named Shirley. 

You know, it just occurred to me that the actor in Airplane that says, "And stop calling me Shirley!" is named Leslie.  I love irony.

I think it's equivalent to abuse to name a child something like that.  You can only hope they grow up to be big and macho.  Otherwise their life is ruined before it starts.

Um, to your last point...I have to add this.  At a previous place of employment, there was a man named Pleasant Meadows...he went by Henry.

What's worse?  He was actually Pleasant Meadows III.
