My site is finally up! After more than a week of changing DNS and IP settings, it's finally up and running. Here's my final setup: I registered a domain name through 1and1, got a gig of space from FreeWebTown, and used ZoneEdit to point the domain name to the hosting space. The whole process cost $5.99, which was just the price of registering a .net domain name for a year. I'm pleased.
