I ordered a few shirts online, and I fully expected them to be shipped by idiots using way too much packaging and padding.  Yet I was pleasantly surprised to find them placed in a small box with no additional padding, which was perfect.

I wish there was a way to choose your own shipping techniques from online retailers.  Even though Amazon is by far my favorite retailer on the planet, they use too much bubble padding.  I don't need that crap for the vast majority of things I buy, especially when those things are clothing or animal feed.

This wouldn't be that hard to implement.  At the checkout screen, just add an option that says something like "No padding necessary" or "Environment-friendly packaging".
