NFL team name categories (7)

I noticed recently that NFL team names can be grouped into one of five categories: - Birds: Cardinals, Eagles, Falcons, Ravens, Seahawks
- Cats: Bengals, Jaguars, Lions, Panthers
- Large Mammals: Bears, Broncos, Colts, Dolphins, Rams
- People Group, Historical Figure, or Occupation: 49ers, Bills, Buccaneers, Chargers, Chiefs, Cowboys, Packers, Patriots, Raiders, Redskins, Saints, Steelers, Titans, Vikings
- Other: Browns, Giants, Jets, Texans
Yes, I realize it's a stretch to call a dolphin a large mammal, but it's technically accurate. And a Charger is someone who charges into battle. Stupidest team name: Browns, named after one-time owner Paul Brown. That's the best they could come up with? #sports

Bills are mammals? I've met some Bills and paid some Bills. Some of the Bills I've met are small Mammals of the people variety. Can you clarify your explanation that a Bill is a large Mammal? Oh, and what gives with the new format. I must have lost your RSS feed back in July. I nearly forgot about you. ;-)

You're right. Bills are named after a historical figure. I got confused by the logo. New format started in July. RSS feed was recently fixed.

Not finding the feed. Could be an ID-10-T issue on my end. Any help?

I find it interesting that the Texans are neither a people group nor a large mammal. ;-)

I considered people groups as being notable for something; e.g. Redskins were the first people in America, Vikings sailed ships from Scandinavia, etc. There's nothing notable about being from Texas.
