Don't even tell me you don't watch reality TV. You're lying.

One "good" thing about reality TV is its ability to turn normal everyday people into mega-millionaire moguls. Aside from American Idol with its mechanical "insert singer here, out comes pop star there" system, a few other shows have produced some big celebrities. Take, for example, the Teutuls, the owners of Orange County Choppers and stars of the show American Chopper. These people are the most famous C-list celebrities on earth. Besides their hit show and successful business, they make countless appearances on TV shows and sporting events, furthering their success and fully taking advantage of their incredible fame. #entertainment

I tried not to watch reality TV for a long time, but it's everywhere so you can't really avoid it, well, I guess you can, but some of it's pretty entertaining. Which bring me to American Idol. Until this season, I have been completely anti the show...and I guess in a way I still am. Do you watch? Anyway...Dustin likes to vote for the worst person on the show...multiple times, so I guess that's our, or I should say his, way of trying to beat the system. I don't really have a point here, but I did want to tell you to check out votefortheworst.com. It's really funny...if you watch the show that is.

we only watched the out-takes last year and then this year i got hooked. it only started with the out-takes, but now it has morphed into me voting! ack!

So who is your favorite? How do you feel about Sanjya always making it through to the next round? I only used to watch the out-takes too. To be honest, I never even saw those until last year or the year before, but Dustin thinks they're funny, so I watch them. They are...sadly. But now I'm hooked on this season too, but I could honestly care less who wins. I like LaKisha Jones though. Melinda is the best singer IMO, but she gets on my nerves. I love Blake, but they want a girl to win, so clearly he'll be out eventually.

Originally, I liked Lakisha (altho I'm not sure she'll win since she's a bit older) and Chris Richardson (sort of like Blake, but not as flashy), but I then became of fan of Jordin, Blake and Melinda (i liked her in the first few rounds and have chosen her as my winner in a work pool). I feel bad that Blake or Chris won't win because the girls overpower them...

I liked Chris Sligh, but less for his singing ability and more for his failure to take things seriously. I highly respect people for doing that sort of thing.

David - I liked Chris Sligh at first for the same reason. I mean seriously, in his audition when they asked him why he wanted to be the next Idol and he said to make David Hasslehoff cry, I just about died. But I got over him about three weeks ago.

Wendy - I definitely think Melinda will win, but she annoys me. Chris is too nasally but a lot of people love him...I just hope Blake is the last guy out. I think it's funny that your office has a pool for American Idol. hehe. Did you guys do an NCAA one too, or just Idol?

Shara - There was an NCAA one, but I just got back from traveling and only had 1 day to put it in all the teams up to the winner. Too complicated with not enough time. As for the American Idol pool, I just had to sign my name up for the absolute winner (not everything leading up to it). Way easier and just pure pride on the line.
