It's been 3 days, and the spammers found me.  I've been getting an increasing number of referrer spams every day, and I was getting several per minute today.  My .htaccess keyword list was no longer working because the spam was coming from domains with Spanish names and things like that.  I looked around and tried out a few solutions, but settled on this one:  Bad Behavior.  It's a simple plugin that does magic things to block spam.  It's been working perfectly for the past hour or so, and I'm hoping that continues.
