Movie time Friday, Jan 6, 2006 2:25 pm

Ars Technica wrote an article a while ago about this article that talks about passing legislation to force movie theaters to print the actual start time of the movie in addition to or instead of the time when the previews and commercials start.  This is an unbelievably great idea that obviously will go nowhere.  What idiot would go to the movie theater to see all the commercials?  Perhaps an idiot that wants a good seat.  The commenters at digg suggested having assigned seats like they apparently do in some other countries.  This is also a great idea that probably won't be implemented for some stupid reason.  More and more, I'm realizing that movie theaters are the man, and in order to fight the man, I need to sign up for Netflix.
