I've been hearing 'go-cart handling' on promotions for the mini cooper on pbs, and I wonder 'what kind of a nut would that appeal to?" It makes no sense. If those cars do have that 'feature', transportation authorities ought to confiscate the lot. It's hard enough, when driving at freeway speeds, to keep track of traffic without worrying about some zippity-do-dah cart squirting around while its driver is subjected to several Gs of jolts we haven't had the pocket-emptying pleasure of since carnival bumper-cars.

The weird thing is that I've driven a Mini, and my only feeling is that it's like a normal small car, but with no back seat or trunk. I guess I never got to the "yearning" part.

It's better to remain ignorant to this sensation than to experience it and then yearn for a Mini. Just ask our friend Scott. (Or ask me, but then I sort of just said it didn't I? I miss my mini as impractical as it was for us).
