		<description>I can still vividly remember some crazy person barging into my church when I was in elementary school. Luckily, he wasn't carrying a gun but he did come in with a bat and start swinging. He damaged several pews and made it all the way to the alter before being taken down. We had volunteer security for a couple of months after that but it wasn't a lasting thing.</description>

		<description>wow that's weird.&#160; extra 'weird' is the thought of usher's having guns... i'm reminded of my favorite quote from "end of the spear":

When the young son of the guy who was about to go visit &#38; evangelize an isolated violent tribe asked his dad about whether or not they'd shoot to protect themselves: "We can't shoot the Waodani, son. They're not ready for heaven—we are."</description>
