i somewhat agree with your statement; however, it uses a generality about a group of people that i don't fit in to hence my disagreement here: when i, a leader of a Christian group, ask about someone not attending one week it's, get this, because i am generally concerned about them. i don't care if they weren't there b/c they didn't want to go, but what if something bad happened or they're sick and could use a hand with dinner? i can help so why not ask how they're doing in order to determine if i could help them and their situation? plus these people are the ones that then complain we don't reach out to them, it's not personal, i don't have relationships there so i don't go, blah, blah, excuse, blah...

if u want to go to a different group have the guts to tell me then i'll stop asking about you.
