PHP5 is always running as CGI on DreamHost. You used to have a selection of Apache or CGI for PHP4, but now &lt;a href=&quot;http://blog.dreamhosters.com/2006/04/11/end-of-php-as-an-apache-module/&quot;&gt;CGI is the default for PHP4&lt;/a&gt; as well.
